Little Stoke Garden Society will be holding an Open Morning on Sunday 30th May 2010 from 10.00am to midday at the Bush Avenue Allotments.

The Open Morning is for non-members as well as members of the Little Stoke Garden Society. Come along and join in the plant sales and look around the allotments. There will be cakes, jams and chutney for sale. A gardening demonstration will be at 10.30 am. Refreshments, raffle and lucky dip will be available. The Garden Society Shop will be open as usual, it will also be a good time to join the Society for just �2.00. Opening times for the Shop is Sundays 10:00-12.00 where you can purchase your gardening sundries; everything from Growmore to pots.

On hand we will have many members with knowledge and experience so come along and ask any gardening questions you may have. Please do come along with your families and meet members of the Society and have a look around. The Garden Society hold talks once a month on a Monday evening during the winter period with interesting speakers.

Allotment gardening is still proving very popular with increased enquiries for allotments. At the moment the waiting list for allotments is closed, but hopefully when the list is reduced we will be able to re-open it.
